Default Ultra Gauge Mounting tip

I found out today that the mount that I have for my Sirus radio works for the Ultragauge. I have the one that hooks up to the ac vents. It is the same mount on the back of the UG. opens up new mounting possiblities.

I would say I am the biggest promoter of the Ultra Gauge.

I own 3 2 are mounted in vehicles like my PT and the 3 I keep in a case to help others when out with the club or track. It is smaller then caring around one of my scan tools.

This might interest you?

That's an understatement. Nitro could sell an ultra gauge to a kid with a tricycle.

So far I don't really care for it. The MPH is off and very slow. I'm hoping that the boost preassure is right. I don't have a way to verify it yet. When it gets nicer out I will do some logs with the DSP and see if it is accurate. Other then that It has a lot of gauges that I really won't need. For the price it's good. Just my opinion.

You have not calibrated your UG for your MPH? Like many precision instruments that need adjustments to be accurate so it is with the UG.
The MPH UG was correct on the Ford but I had to make calibration adjustment for the PT. It read about 1 MPH faster then the GPS.

MPG Accuracy
For best results, UltraGauge should be calibrated for both distance measurements and fuel measurement. See the following section:
Calibration... . Diesel vehicles must perform fuel calibration otherwise MPG and fuel gauges will be dramatically inaccurate. Vehicles
which use a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor instead of a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor should also see the following section:
VE Enable (MAP only)and ) VE RPM (MAP only). )
To determine which sensor your vehicle uses see this section: Version.

I'm not sure why they don't give you anything with the gauge. I had a pen and paper ready when I booted it up but I didn't see anything that needed to be written down. IDK maybe I did something wrong. Thats for the instuctions. I'm sure that will help.

How did you get the serial number for your registration? Did you take their funky little test?

Naw ....you did nothing wrong there just is a couple area's that need calibrating for
accuracy.
