Default PT cruiser shift bushing 2005 and earlier

OK, so the wife's old PT cruiser drop top is now my daily driver. today in the parking lot, the shift bushing for reverse falls apart and makes getting into reverse difficult.

I intend on making a set of bushings at work (have access to a million dollars worth of raw material inventory and about 2 million in machine tools)

so will be turning a set of delrin or ultra-comp bushings

does anyone have the ID, OD, and thickness needed? I would like to make them tomorrow vs having the car down for the weekend and thru tuesday with the council removed.

Thanks in advance

The bushings in the engine compartment are easier to access than the ones in the console, have you considered that?....If your gonna replace the inside,I assume your going to do the outside as well.
Or stop by a parts store(AZ/PB/NAPA?),and have your calipers ready to do the measuring...

Why not pick some Boogers instead?

Drivetrain - Booger Shift Linkage Bushings (set of four) 95-05 Neon / 00+ PT Cruiser

If he has access to 'free' Delrin, those could be better than the Boogers.....We used to use Delrin in several applications at Horton Automatics, mostly on the manual ICU sliding door units in the sliding tracks.
I had to keep replacing the steering stops on my 93 Toyota p/u about every 6 months, until I fabbed some out of Delrin.....I didn't have to change them again, even 4 years later when it got totalled because a 17 y/o kid ran a stop sign(in mommy's NEW car!).
I've heard of Ultracomp, but never worked with it....

Well I figured if he has to go in there to get measurements (I doubt anyone has spares laying around to take some measurements for him) and then fab some up, it is probably easier to by a set that's perfectly made. They are cheap and though they are not made of delrin, they will last the life of the car as well.
