After the initial issue of the key not turning (happened a little more frequently then couldn't turn at all) My son attempted to replace the ignition..as he was removing ignition, it turned attempted to start it, assumed it was battery, it is somewhat weak and extremely cold. Put the old ignition back together, key turns fine however car seems like it's starting but doesn't ....not the battery, tried jumping...and starter fluid. *****He did not remove battery cable prior to this. *****would that create this problem? Also, have a remote starter that too sounds just short of starting...
Neighbor noticed a part leaking fuel...after much research it is called a FUEL PPULSATION DAMPER.... going to get that replaced but, still need info on this ignition issue. Please help.... |
