2004 5spd turbo wont pass smog?
 

Help needed!! My 2004 75,000m 5spd turbo wont pass smog. Smog station here in los angeles says its not the emissions. The 02 sensor and catalytic converter are not registering in the smog system computer or on the 0B hand held. The check engine light does not come on and when I check there is no code. Last week I changed the upper and lower 02 sensors. Also tech asked me if i cleared the computer lately and I did 4-5 months ago and 400 miles or so when I left the gas cap loose. Just went back to the smog station today and had the same results. Any ideas what could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

P.s. Smog Tech said that I needed to drive the car 65-70 miles per hour for 45 minutes so the computer will load the information?? Ever here this??

Where in LA are you located? Seems like your readiness monitors are not ready for some reason. Did you disconnect your battery prior to smog check?

I'm off of Labrea ave and the 10 frwy west of downtown L.A. I did disconnect the battery a couple of months ago to clear a code when i left the gas cap loose.

Hello,
My parents have the same issue with their Turbo PT. They have been told to drive it long distance to warm it up, but it is not working, and yes their mechanic did disconnect the battery to perform work a few weeks ago
Any thoughts
