If you will go to the search function and then search for P0513, several useful threads will come up. The same is true for P0522. Be sure to use the "P".

P0522 means oil pressure sensor input below the acceptable voltage. The fix is usually to replace the oil sending unit.

P0513 is an invalid SKIM key code. If you have another gray security key, try it to see if it works. The problem could also be an issue with the SKIM module in the steering column. A battery terminal 'reboot' might also straighten it out. If the car still runs okay, try the battery reboot first. Just disconnect the negative terminal on the battery for about ten minutes. While disconnected you might also turn the key on and press the brake pedal several times. And I say ten minutes as a general time for most cars I've worked on. I think I've read on this forum that it takes less than a minute on a PT Cruiser.

Disconnecting the battery will only sometimes clear the DTC's from being seen on the dash it will not correct and clear the problem in the PCM.

Yes! Better scan tools will have 3 area's to veiw and make adjustments. DTC, DTC pending and the reediness. You can clear the DTC but not the pending. You can clear the DTC and pending but not the readiness. If you choose to re-set the readiness then you must drive and cycle the system at least 1 once or 50 miles or more to set readiness or the pending and/or DTC will return if it was not corrected. This is why the battery disconnect does nothing except appease you physiologically not seeing it. It is STILL there you just need to know how and where to find it.
