Here's how to do it.
Loosen the inner fender liner.
Once loose on the front, you can just fold it back like this.
You will need to remove the main drive belt first. It is on a spring-loaded tensioner. Use a 3/8 drive ratchet or break over bar and insert it into the square hole on the tensioner beside the AC compressor as shown.
Then pull the ratchet or bar to the left as shown to take the tension off the main drive belt. While pulling on the bar, you can pull the main drive belt off one of the pulleys. Then it can be removed.
Next, loosen the bolt on the bottom of the alternator.
From under the hood, loosen the stud on the alternator tensioner.
Then from under the hood, loosen the tensioner bolt. You may need to bend the ac drier's mounting bracket a little or just remove it to get to the tensioner bolt.
Now the alternator belt will be loose and can be replaced.
