You can do a catback as long as you don't replace the converter. It bolts right on.
Dunno, what emissions are like in the UAE, however.
K&N are CARB certified here, but like I said, don't know how that applies to emissions regulations in UAE.
The airfilter is only higherflow, computer controls everything, and will eventually recalibrate it's self to bring all specs into predetermined parameters. This car has no mass airflow sensor, it uses a different system, which is much harder to "play with".
All I know is that low end throttle response is better with a aftermarket filter.

thx for the help guys, i placed it correctly now (but u know the sound was kinda cool though, btw do you guys know what happens if i left it the way it is [:I])
About the peace under the glove box, my friend tells me its the Heater Core ??! [:I]
Heater core would be rectangular and metal with fins - it have hoses attached?
Hope it's clear from other posts that the roar was unfiltered air rushing into the engine. Here's the K&N filter to replace the stock one - you will get some of the roar, but still filter the air.

Cat back exhaust will not void warranty or emissions, and the K&N filter in stock air box will also not effect warranty or emissions.

Quicksilverdon,
which one will fir the PT , the one u specified from Race and Street (http://www.raceandstreet.com/display...html?uid=10136), because in one of the auto shops, i saw a cone shaped K&N filter. I want to go with that one but can u tell me which size will fit the stock airfitler box.

Thx

You don't put the cone filters in the air box, the box must be removed or modified to accommodate a cone type air filter.

What you want is the rectangle shaped K&N filter that will replace the original filter in the box, it fits in the same as the original with the entire box completely intact.

Get the dealer to look at that thing under the dash.

PianT is correct - only way to use a cone filter is to spend more money and replace the intake box with an AirAid or K&N FIPK intake. The money is worth it in performance.
