Default Considerable Vibrations at Idle

Hello peeps!

So I recently replaced the engine mounts on my '08 Cruiser, all of them except for the rear one cause it looked fine and impossible to get to without additional disassembling.

Anyhoo, the reason I replaced them was cause you could feel the engine move considerably if you accelerated hard (seems they had never been replaced) and also I started noticing more vibrations when stopped.

Well after I replaced them, it felt like it would vibrate even more at idle. And after a few weeks of having changed them, I'm pretty sure it's not me.
It vibrates a lot. It dips to about 700rpm, which seems to me was the norm with the PT but the person that helped me replaced them said I should do a tune up with the spark plugs and stuff.

Once I raise it to maybe above 1000rpm, it's buttery smooth in the cabin.

So, I'm wondering if this is something others have experienced and how they dealt with it?

I don't ever recall it vibrating this much. That's one thing I liked about it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Impossible to tell over the internet, but I would think new plugs and wires are always a good idea.
Also throw in a bottle of Lucas injection cleaner or similar...

I can't see new mounts producing more vibration, unless you put in solid ones.

What make of engine mounts did you have installed?

I replaced mine a while back, and used "anchor" from amazon, and the vibration was there. So, I went and paid the price of Chrysler mount, and the engine runs smooth at idle, no vibration. Get what you pay 4.

With both engine mounts, I made sure that the engine was properly aligned.

In saying that, you may want to check the 2 bolt distance to see if the engine was properly aligned after the mount replacement.
