Default 04 not firing on 1 and 4

I have replaced the coil pack, plugs, wires and ignition switch and the problem continues. I get error code p2302. It has been like this since October and I find the same problem when I search the web but no answers. I am a new member and searched this forum but I couldn't find any thing. Please help!

Does it run at all?
Have you checked for spark?
If you have spark, next things to do would be an injector test and a compression test.
How many miles?

I had the same problem with my 04 PTC and it said I need a new coil pack

After changing the sparkplugs, wires, coil pack, cam sensor and crankshaft sensor the guys at Firestone discovered the the PCM (on the firewall/computer) was bad and they replaced it for free.

You cannot take one from a junk car and replace it w/a bad one, you have to go to a company that sells them, there is one in Ft. Lauderdale, you can look it up on google for about $ 150.00 and they have to program it to your VIN number.

This was an ongoing problem for 2 years and it is now fixed but I am stuck with a bit of a vibration in the motor at idle after replacing the motor mounts and trans mount

Ignition Coil No. 1 Secondary Circuit Insufficient Ionization

Trouble Code Conditions:Engine started; and the PCM detected the Ignition Coil No. 1 secondary "burn time" was insufficient, or it was missing.

Possible Causes:

•Intermittent condition
•Cylinder No. 1 spark plug or wire is damaged or it has failed
•Ignition Coil No. 1 is damaged or it has failed
•Ignition coil control circuit is open or shorted to ground
•ASD relay output circuit problems
•PCM has failed

you should add your location to your profile and some info about your car(year/trim/trans) to your signature. if you were near me with a compatible car, i'd let you try my ECU.

When you replace the wore out motor mounts with new FRESH ones you will usally feel a little more of the motor viberation espically if you go to the better ones
