Question pulsating, uneven braking

When braking the car pulsates like a warped disk. But after checking them, they're not warped. The brake pedal doesn't pulsate either. The car doesn't brake smoothly it jerks to a stop. Any ideas guys?

What is the condition of the pads? How did you check the disks for "trueness" (no warping)?

How did you measure for correctness of the disc?
What are the conditions of the calipers?
When did you last do a brake fluid flush?

I replaced the discs with new ones and the pulsating came back.
Original calipers, 125,000 miles.
Had the fluid flushed maybe 5-6 yrs ago.

The problem may be stiction in the *calipers. They are inexpensive and easy to change.

The *brake fluid is long over due for a good complete system flush.

Replaced pads or the rotors? Also have you checked the rears? If they are bad or not adjusted if drums. You can warp the new ones if the rears are not helping in the stop process.

Another possibility.....Whenever the wheels were last removed, they weren't torqued in the correct sequence('star pattern') and/or not torqued to specs(100 ft/lbs).

You need a dial indicator to visually check for warped rotors. If your in the rust belt and you remove your rotors and don't reinstall them exactly as they were removed there may be enough rust or dirt between the hub and the rotor to make it wobble, it doesn't take much. Damaged wheels or tires may do the same.
