Default OBD-II Port diagram

Hello All,

Thanks in advance for the help. In addition to using everyone's experience on an overheating problem (still underway), I have a different issue that needs addressing. I am in need of the wiring diagram for the OBD-II port. I kicked loose the plastic plug that separates and positions the leads and want to put the plug back together.

Ron

One piece is black and the same shape as shown in Rob's diagram. This piece goes on the outbound side of the mounting bracket. The other piece is white and more rectangular

I have 7 leads and no white wire (#15) so I would say the "black" diagram is what I have. I will also confirm wire colors to be sure.

Thank you for the help.
Ron

My post (white connector) was from 2004 shop manual.
Here is information from the 2002 Mitchell Repair Information guide.

Read the diagram that Rob posted. If you don't know the codes for the colors, just ask. For example, the wire that goes in cavity 2 is violet and yellow. The data link is numbered from the left side to the right. Cavity 1 is the top left and each cavity # goes up to #8. Then bottom left starts with cavity #9. Any questions, please post back. The only dumb question will be the one you DON'T ask. We're all here to help, if and when we can. Thanks for posting the diagram, Rob! You da man!!!
