Default SRT 4 What needs to be done.

Hello im new to the forum and also new to Autos. My first car is a 03' Pt Cruiser Gt and I was noticing a lot of people for performance sakes changing there Pt's to a SRT 4. My question is what all does this entail, is it as simple as changing the intake manifold to the Neon SRT 4 one or is it more complicated than that? That being said that is what i've come to the PT Gods for help since the rest of the internet is no help.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

Get your advice from nitropt

He has personally tested his mods to his GT

Everyone else just goes on what they "have heard"

He will chime in here soon

The SRT4 is a Neon with the same engine as the PT GT. The SRT 4 intake manifold is different, and very difficult to fit in a PT. If you're after more performance, the PT GT and SRT4 both have plenty that can be done.

QuicksilverDon pretty well summed it up?

What exactly are you intending to use your PT for and what is your realistic goal?

You also didn't really say what year model your current PT is?

oh and ......

I saw that but I guess it is how you read it?
But as this is a automobile forum and NOT a grammar forum....the point of responses remains.
