Default Pulling the engine

Hey guys! It's been awhile! Anyway, I just picked up a 2005 srt4 and a 2003 gt. I'm going to be pulling the engine out of the pt and dropping it into the srt4. Does anyone have any pointers to pulling the motor out?

Thats a new one...putting a PT engine into a SRT4? Better not let the SRT forum catch wind they think you gone off your rocker?

No really.. it is the same engine so why not?

Let us know hoe it all worked out!

It is pretty sad how unaware some SRT guys are that the gt engine is pretty much the same. For some reason they think its down tuned. I know there is a difference in the '04+ turbo and HO turbo but this one is an '03 so I know its a HO. I will probably get the bigger injectors though.

After doing a lot of reading I can only find that the cams although having the same engineering specifications they have a different clocking position for the sensor but everything else is pretty much the same between the 2 engines? The claimed power levels seemed more related to specific PCM mapping then actual components?

If I said this on the SRT forum I would surely get castrated?

A good information resource about the 2 engines on this forum is from a member UptownSport.
