Default Plug wires?

I just spent an hour visiting a hundred posts on plugs and plug wires. I have an 07 N/A that I just want to change the plugs and wires. Not looking for race stuff, just everyday. Questions, is it true the stock wires are 3mm, if so do I really need 8.5mm or will 7mm give me a bit more over std. Am I right to torque the plugs to 13lbs and when putting back the intake, torque them to ?. I don't own a inch/pound wrench.

Plugs to 13lbs, upper intake bolts 8.75lbs

Any decent set of wires will do.

FYI, I got Bosch wires at Autozone and they are working fine as of about 9 months. They came with the lubricant to put on the boots so they don't get stuck when you remove them next time.
