Unhappy Overheating. again.

I have an 04 non-turbo. Last week it began to over heat. I tested the fan because I could not hear it kick in per normal. Fan did kick on with direct power from a 12v source. I replaced the coolant temp sensor. This seemed to solve my issue. The fan kicked in. well.... one week later. Same issue, Overheating, and I don't hear the fan kicking in. I turned the ac on and let it run then got out to check the fan. The ac ran for about 2 minutes tops, and when suddenly it blows off pressure from a dump valve (scared me to death BTW). I shut the AC off, repeated it. it dumped again. I don't even know if the two issues are correlating. I just don't know. BTW there is no check engine light. can anyone help me out? I don't have a clue.

Default Re: Overheating. again.

Check the connector from the fan wiring harness, it could be a loose connection damaged from heat. And if the fan is10 years old I'd bet the brushes make contact with armature sometimes.
