Default bumpy road with newly purchased 2001 pt cruiser limited

I've been all over this board trying to figure out the issues of my newly acquired '01 pt cruiser. I'm going to start from scratch and see if someone here can help me. T
*Test drove the car ran good and tight, seemed solid. *Realized that if it sat for a while running it began to overheat. But I paid $1000 for it and decided to fix it.
*replaced thermostat and radiator first
*upon starting it, Coolant spewed under hood on passenger side.
*tore down and replaced idle pulley timing belt and water pump (also realized that spewing Coolant was probably coming from thermostat I replaced but didn't get a good seal on
*put car back together and note no overheating problems but now it
*IDLES ROUGH
*DIES WHEN IDLING TO LONG
*GETTING TERRIBLE GAS MILEAGE
I did also replace the map sensor that was looking a little rough.
Its not at all smooth and tight like it was before I worked on it.
Please help me figure this one out

. Sounds like a timing issue. Pros at Chrysler dealers have gotten this wrong. Cooling fan not kicking on can cause over heat.

Overheat problem is fixed. Like i stated, That was the radiator/thermostat.
Then replaced water pump pulleys and timing belt. Now car dies when idling to long and gets bad gas mileage. Is it something I did when fixing other repairs?
Fans are working properly.

P0108 & P1297 are both MAP Sensor codes.

Like I said it's out of time on the timing belt.

I was afraid of that. Is there any chance, since the map sensor was bad, that the throttle position sensor could also be bad?
Or just suck it up and redo the timing belt?

If it idled smooth before then you have to check the work already done. you can take pic to confirm with us before you get to far back together. You can start it with it open no balancer to check for smooth idle also.

Yeah, you should have come here first(B4 doing T/B),just to confer, and make sure you had it 100% correct.....Even being 1 tooth off,can cause the symptoms your describing, and this can happen upon tensioning the belt,so you kinda have to compensate for that when tightening it down.

Everything should be lined up like this(see photos),after the proper tension has been applied to the belt:
