Default Fuel Gauge Issue

I posted this earlier, but I believe that I put it in the wrong forum. Any help would be appreciated...

Good morning...long time reader, first time poster.

I have an 06 base model with 105xxx miles. This morning my fuel gauge was showing about 1/8 of a tank so I stopped and put ~5 gallons in and the fuel gauge did not move. After driving about 5 min, the gas light came on.

I just had the tcm/ECM replaced a week or so ago, could the issues be related? It was replaced with a used unit.

Thank you in advance for your help.
