With the options you have available on the PT engine, that being from regular non turbo 2.4L to the highout put 2.4L turbo I would ask why you would want to spend the time, money and beer to get it done?

I work on the body repair side of things and when someone ask me about a complete change of color repaint it is my job to bring them back to reality with the costs involved in such a job. There are so many nice PT cruisers in the world why spend the money to change engines? If you are having that many issues with the set up you have then why not find a low mileage, high output GT and just enjoy the car?

Just my 2 cents on the subject of trying to switch out a engine but with the newer cars not an easy task with all the wiring etc. involved. Can it be done-the answer is yes but is it worth the effort-the answer is in my opinion NO!!!!

it makes it hurt less when you smash or cut your finger. it also makes you bleed more, so when you slice your hand open, you can continue working as the extra blood flow will flush the wound clean of grease, rust, etc, completely eliminating the need for hand washing or peroxide. if you are prone to getting angry when you injure yourself, you can add country music to the beer. this will dramatically reduce the feeling of wanting to throw the wrench when the injury occurs.
