Default Motor Mount Recommendation

I was replacing my front brake pads and rotors and decided to inspect the passenger side motor mount and notices that one of the sections of rubber has a crack all the way through it. There is a lot of vibration at idle so I think this might be the cause.

Should I just replace it with an mount that I can get shipped free on Amazon or keep the one I have and add one of those mount inserts you can buy?

Replace both upper and lower.

There is a specific installation procedure that should be followed for best performance and life of the mounts.

Aftermarket mounts are fine to use!

Free shipping from amazon sounds like a winner?

I'll see if the installation procedure in the Haynes repair manual when I get home.

I had posted a couple of months ago, my experience with the "amazon" mounts.

When I used the upper and lower, and set everything proper, I could not get the motor to stop vibrating, not bad, but you knew it was there.

I replaced the lower with a Chrysler mount, and when I compared the 2, there was about a 3/8 difference in the hole alignment, and the diam. of the one hole was larger on the amazon replacement.

Long story short, after installing the factory unit, there was absolutely no vibration.

Somewhere in this thread library are pics that I posted.
