Exclamation how do you remove the ac high side pressure switch?

Hi, we have a 2005 limited edition non turbo pt cruiser and for a while now the ac hasnt been blowinhg cold air. The low switch was replaced but it didnt fix the problem so we're going to replace the high side pressure switch that is connected to the ac compressor. The thing is that it's really hard to pull it out. I know it has a snap ring holding it in and we have a tool that supposed to remove it but still no go and its hard to get at it at the right angle. Does anyone know how to remove it so we can replace it? Thanks

WARNING: The high pressure switch cannot be replaced with the system charged. The LP switch has the shrader valve underneath it. The HP switch must have the system drained and recovered before attempting to remove it. It is unlikely the HP switch is your problem. Additional troubleshooting should be performed to determine what the problem is. A gauge set is generally required to determine what is really happening with the system, but as a minimum, find out if the compressor is running at all and how much.
