Default What Kind of Tune Up Does My '03 w/ 75k Need?

I have a 2003 base model with about 75,00 miles on it. I've owned it since 2008 and it has only ever had the battery replaced. Prior to me it was kept in a garage and driven rarely. Only had 7k miles when I bought it.

What tune ups does it need to keep it working in top shape?

I'm assuming spark plugs and wires. Anything else?

Somewhere in the next 25,000 miles...replace the timing belt & water pump.

Thanks. Do you know a rough idea of what that will cost me? So I can start saving up.

Around $800-$1400...depending on the shop.

let me understand this , you bought it with 7000 miles ? and it now has 75000 miles ????
so you've driven 68,000 miles with NO tune up
if your serious id have to say you need to do EVERYTHING plus tax

If it's an auto, have the transmission flushed - with ATF+4 ONLY.

Great idea. Also might be a good time to flush and refill the radiator with HOAT.

That's only a little over 11,000 miles per year which is less than average. But yeah, by now the spark plugs should have been replaced at 30,000 and the spark plugs again and spark plug wires at 60,000. Look at owner's manual and it will give you the basics, but you have some catching up to do, espcially with the fluids!
