Default No engine Troube Codes if over 35 miles per hour

2007 PT Cruiser Convertible 70,000 miles.

The first issue that came up was about three years ago with the gauges in the cluster panel (fuel, temp, etc) all drop to zero and average of five seconds they come back to normal. This issue is random but has been increasing lately. The second issue started about a year ago and the issue is starting the car. It will start to run and then die. I have gotten it to start the first two times by letting it sit 45 minutes and it will start. After that I would disconnected the battery and reconnected it and it started right up. Now I am getting radiator fan trouble codes even after replacing the fan.
I feel the Security Key Module (SKIM) might be causing the first two problems but now with the radiator fan engine code errors P0480 I am searching for answers. If I keep the car going over 35 miles an hour I don't have any problems but if I go lower then the dancing gauges start and then after I stop the engine and try starting it again I get the start and die routine. It seems that when the engine gets to normal temperature it triggers the engine light if the car is not going over 35 miles per hour.

Battery has been replaced
Ground wires have been checked.
Radiator fan has been replaced.
Cam sensor has been replaced.

I would appreciate any feedback on what might be the problem.

After it does the start and die routine I use the scanner from Harbor Freight and reset the trouble codes so now I don't have to take off the battery cable anymore but I would like to get it fixed.

I have been doing some research and finding out that the SKIM - Security Key module has a red dot that shows up on the dashboard if there is a problem with the SKIM. I will be keeping my eye on that and see if it does light up the next time I get the start and 3 seconds later engine dies routine.

I have decided to solder all the ground wires together on the drivers side fender first before doing anything else but the 75 watt soldering iron I had would not handle it. I will have to wait and get a heavy duty soldering iron to do the job. Will update when I finish doing this task.

I used a small pencil soldering iron, it took some time to warm up the bundle of wires but it did work. The rosin flux really helps.
IF you could get a small wire brush to comb the wires to clean them before soldering, it would help too.
