Today, I noticed a noise when turning the steering wheel. Upon further investigation, I found that it was coming from the rubber boot on the steering shaft near the gas and brake pedals. I pulled the boot up and put silicone grease at the area where the top of the boot was. After that, there were no more moaning noises. I hope this helps someone out in the future.

Sorry it was kinda dark. Basically, you pull the rubber boot up, but do not remove. Clean the grey plastic part and the top part of the boot with a paper towel. Apply a liberal amount of silicone grease to the part you just wiped off (the red arrow is pointing to it).
