Default Torque ?

I'm replacing the upper motor mount, and see yellow markings on the bolts. Are these markings the torque specs?

it says to remove the pencil strut, loosen the upper and lower, then to rotate the engine until it is adjusted properly (see attached) then to tighten the upper and lower torque strut bolts to 85ft lbs

What year is your PT Cruiser and isn't there just one big bolt and two smaller bolts holding the upper torque strut?

when you're done with that, the pencil strut is (2) in this picture. it says "Install pencil strut (2) and tighten nuts (1, 3) to 43 ft. lbs.

one big bolt at either end of the mount, those are 85. upper and lower. the little bolts dont have a spec listed. i would not go over 45ft/lbs on those little ones. give me another minute though, ill keep looking. those specs arent in there by the strut specs. i need to see what that little piece conected to the mount is called.

to answer your question, i have a 2002, but after stalking Red98, i looked up a 2007 na pt for the specs.

Install right engine support bracket (1). Ensure the power steering pump is properly located in mounting location on bracket. Tighten mount bracket bolts (2) to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.)

Rob, your a great guy and have helped me out many times.....I'm doing the UPPER mount. I believe your showing info for the LOWER mount. I'm looking for the torque specs for the 3 bolts that hold the UPPER mount. Thanks for all you work. So the one bigger both torques to 85 and the two smaller bolts torque to 45. I've been looking through many posts about motor mounts, and thought you just took out the UPPER mount and put a new one in. Now I can't figure out all this alignment stuff. I just took the UPPER out and put a new one in!!!

Do you have a repair manual for 1998 and if so does it say 4.720 for the alignment dimension?
