Question Power steering goes in and out, intermittent problem

Power steering intermittent problem HELP! I have a 2005 PT 5 spd Touring Edition. Three times now have replaced rack, pinion, pump. Drives fine then power steering goes out again! Tomorrow morning it may be fine until it happens again! No codes, no leeks, not low on fluid. I'm thinking PS pressure valve? (sensor and switch seem to be used interchangeably with the word "valve") Anyone had this problem???

Are the repairs being done by the same repair shop?

Picture of LEEK

Other kind of LEAK .... (Power Steer Pressure Hose - if your looks like this, there's a Chrysler RECALL that will fix it)

As Steve said above; if the same shop is doing all the repairs, find yourself another place to help you.

THANK YOU! Yep, work being done by same shop. I don't see any leek on the ground. Could it be and not dripping? What about the PS Power valve )switch) ? Might that cause it? If it is the Recall problem is that intermittent?

The power steering recall was about the high pressure hose that was running under the transaxle and rubbing, which caused a leak that could start a fire. That's why the picture.

That wouldn't cause your whole unit to be replaced so that's NOT your problem.

If your garage can't tell you what is wrong and WHY they have to keep replacing everything, your being taken for ride. Take it somewhere else.
