Trying to post some pics of the problem and that ain't even working for me right now. Belt tensioner wont even touch the timing belt to tighin it up! I have the first style tensioner setup. Looks like I have the right belt!

I might be wrong about this, but I don't think your routing the belt around the correct way.

Can you guys tell if the diameter of the tensioner wheel in my pic is smaller than the one in the pics you guys posted? Like I said I have the old style setup.

The thing is, if the belt is routed the correct way, it shouldn't matter if you have the old or new style tensioner. They should both work no matter if one is slightly bigger than the other. I ran the old style for 5 or 6 years before I had enough mileage to change the timing belt and the old style tensioner worked well. I only went to the new style because it came with the "kit" that had all the parts I needed from RockAuto.

SO, take the belt off, re-route it according to my picture and you'll see that it all fits together perfectly.
