Default DO YOURSELF A FAVOR (Intake)

Do youself a favor when it comes to buying an intake. Spend the one time money for K&N or AIRADE. I bought off E-Bay an intake from HIPROSPEED a system they claim is for the PT. Let me tell you it needs alot of work, to work and look right. For me it was a money thing. Only cost me 34.99 to my door, and I got what I paid for!

A prime reason I'm not an E-bay fan. Hope you can salvage it.

I got an AirAid box weeks ago and am still praying to the weather gods for a nice weekend to install it!

Yeah but aleast you got a filter and a pipe that you could use as a starting point. I had seen this same thing and thought for the filter its not so bad. My local shop carries the same type filter for 25.

Put it together and make sure its tight. Its cake to put together about 15 minutes without even touching the car.

After that find a covered area like a pull in car wash or a friends garage.

All you gotta do is,
Pop the hood,
unscrew the intake hose clamp,
take off the top part of the box and take out the filter,
place the Airaid box on top hooking in the rear clips
clip sides
tighten the hose clamp to the Airaid box
make sure everything is tight.

But isn't the GT and Touring Edition slightly different. I'm so confused [:I]
