Turbo PTs?????

Default Turbo PTs?????

looking at a turbo PT..its not running and around 90.000 miles,,auto..they said the turbos out? but there clueless to any repairs?? I have 2 PTS now non turbos..

what the bad about the Turbos?? any big issues?? are they as good as non turbos? or should I stay away from them

thanks..opinions??

Are you handy with repairs? Not that hard to rebuild if not totally wrecked. Could be misdiagnosed as well.

I rather have the turbo models.

GT or turbo lite??? The GT needs premium fuel.
Look up the thread that Busted_PT did - he rebuilt a turbo - read it and decide for yourself how bad it is to do.
I feel synthetic oil is mandatory in a turbo - use it and change it and a turbo engine should last as long as a non-turbo engine.

Read my footer-- and btw ? dino and regular fuel all these years and it runs like a bull. I say go for it, fix the turbo and live a little.

The Turbo is strong, fast and reliable.. People that don't understand the love of a PT, probably don't deserve to.

Premium fuel recommended is the phrase Chrysler uses. Not required for the turbo GT. Regular for the lite. Same turbo on either.
