Default Ok The Newb Has The New Battery Installed. Next Set of Questions, Anybody?

Ok, Thanks for the advice from all to my previous post!
Now I have a fresh battery, tested great, and my alternator and starter, voltage regulator all tested great.
Drove it around town up hills, around corners and curves and it behaved like a dream.
Very peppy for a 4 banger. Took it on the interstate, up to 90mhp without a hiccup.
I pulled over at a gas station to call my wife, put it park and left the engine running.
I noticed that it was idling really smooth looked like about 800rpm, but then I noticed a shudder and the rpm's drop a 100 or so.
It did this almost like in a cycle, but there was no repetitive timing to it.
The space between the shudders was sometimes 30sec, sometimes 90sec.
Sometimes even longer.
I took off for home and it made it with no warning lights, no problems, nothing out of sorts.
When I parked, I turned the car off waited like 10mins, and did the key code read.
(I did order myself a nice OBDII from Harbor Freight)
The engine light stayed on during the process, and when it finished, it said "done" and the engine light started flashing.
I repeated and got the same result.
I then started the car and drove some more and no warning lights at all
Anybody got any thoughts on this?

Try adding some fuel injector cleaner. I use Berryman B-12.

I actually was looking at that today, is it added to a full tank of gas?

Not the AC. It was off. Gonna try The B-12 today. Gas tank is full.
Might as well try it. It's not expensive, that's for sure.
I'm guessing a whole bottle for a full gas tank is proper?

Yes, hopefully you will see a difference in a few miles...but it could take a little longer.
If the B-12 doesn't fix it, the next thing to check would be the plugs & wires.

In my experience the 2.4 motors all seem to have a random rough idle occasionally. If I run into the problem I will throw a bottle of Motor Flush in the motor and do an oil change followed by a can of seafoam in the gas tank. Both only help the car unless you run into the occasional clogged oil pump pickup from the motor flush. If that doesn't fix the problem check every vacuum line to ensure none are broken or damaged. Then spark plugs, wires, coil pack, air cleaner and that's about all I can think of. Really you can do any of these quick fixes in any order you want to. If none of that helps well then its just the random rough idle the 2.4's are known for or possibly something else but I stop there unless it seems like something major.
