Question engine codes and problems

I have a 2007 cruiser, the cars rpm goes up to 4000 and speed only gets 10 if lucky, a LOT of hesitation, jerking. I have 2 codes that are prob. related to that (p0123 and p2074, not sure if p0300 is related or not)I was told to change timing belt and throttle control sensor by 2 different ppl. (I am going to do the throttle sensor test tmw by disconnecting the sensor while car is running). I was going to change sensor is car ran better. Do you suggest I change the timing belt w/water pump as well (that is expensive for parts and labor)? The cruise control quit working a couple months ago, could this be the multifunction switch or maybe related to the throttle sensor? Can someone send me some suggestions plz.

I would suggest checking the wires and connectors on your TPS and Map sensors first before looking at replacing the TPS.

Not sure what that means....

Look for vacuum leaks - that could be both your cruise and idle problems.
