Default newbie, few problems with my pt

Hi everyone, I've just bought my first pt cruiser and I'm well impressed with it however there are a few problems with it. I've done a bit of googling and getting nowhere.
1: when I turn on ignition there is no airbag light.
2: few error codes have come up P1130, P1652 and P1685.
3: when turning right there's like a rubbing/grating sound.
It's a 2002 2.2crd, I believe the diesel engine wasn't available in U.S. (I could well be wrong thou) but any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated even if not relating to engine fault codes. I've tried the UK cruiser site but you have to be a fully paid up member to post on there and funds are short after buying, taxing, insuring and servicing it. Thanks in advance.

Jack up right side, grasp top and bottom of wheel and push/pull - should have minimal movement - movement indicates wheel bearing going.

No diesel PTs in US.

So in answer 2 on that link, he is saying if you disconnect one of the connections under the seat, the airbag console light will turn off??? Isn't this the complete opposite of how an airbag system is supposed to work?
I'll get a look in the morning to see what mischief someone's been up to, No doubt there's a problem someone's attempted to hide. Don't know why people just don't do repairs properly instead of hiding them. Grrrrr!!

The airbag light is a warning light. It should come up during the start/lamp check for a few seconds, shut off and then stay off for the duration of that "run" event (driving). If it comes on at any other time it's warning of a system fault in the safety system.

I can't say what prior owner did/didn't do, but connectors are often problem points with shorts or opens, places to check

I understand how the system works, so if a connector came loose the airbag light would come to inform you of a fault. My problem is that I have no light. At all. When I turn the key it doesn't come on as it's supposed to for a few seconds. That's why I'm puzzled.
Say your airbag light was on, how would you get it off without fixing the fault??

A long shot perhaps, but check fuse #10 (10 amp) in the dash fuse block.

I would suggest being very careful about the fuses for the air bags. Do not remove or replace unless you know what you are doing. It can be very dangerous if the air bags exploded while you are diagnosing the air bag problem and you or someone else is in the PT Cruiser.
