Default TIPM Differences

Hello, Im from Argentina (south far away) and i have a 2006 PT Cruiser CRD 2.2 Classic. Iam very pleased with this car but suddenly it started with problems with A/C. I found a leakage so i had tu change my Condensser, and afeter a time it stopped sending Cold Air. I found compressor was not Starting. The problem was a melted wire that was solved. But my mechanic said that perhaps my TIPM could be broken. I took the part number of the TIPM (56049719AN) and found that teh number of the replacement is the same but have different letters (AK). Does anyone knows what teh letters stand for? or, is there any difference with that?
Thanks a lot!!!

The "AK" part of the number is the revision generally AA would be the original and going up to AK, be sure its for a 2006 second generation which uses canbus

Are you still having problems with the AC or something else?
I think you may be referring to the PCM with those numbers
PCM has VIN programmed and if you have the security key with the chip ( large grey thumb end)and SKIM module
it may start a few times for a second or two then set the theft deterrent red light on the instrument panel and will not work.
the TIPM has the fuses and relays under the cover
