Check the how to thread in the tech and performance section. Find the harmonic balancer thread and look at what I used. A lot cheaper. I bet.

Lots of good threads on this 3Cruiser! Danny (Busted) has a great step by step on the alignment process!

on a related note, but not relating to your puller question...

a ratchet wrench makes turning the alternator tensioner bolt a million times faster. a ratchet won't fit back there and a wrench makes you swear a bunch. turning the bolt an 8th of a turn at a time with a regular wrench gets old quick.

Personally I wouldn't go near it without a hundred count Xanax Rx.

I have read the threads..trying to round up the parts would be more of a hassle than just buying the tools..the 2 pullers look different but are supposed to do the same job...I don't mind spending the 100 and getting the puller and installer...hell maybe I will buy both...I used to have some pullers don't know where they went..
