Dunno what you mean by chq - no cat is a federal offense (not that it's enforced) - and unless you have a lot of good mods, you won't notice the cat deletion.
Keep your cat if you ever want to sell your car.

In Arkansas there's no loss of value for removing the cat. And there's no state law against an owner removing it themselves. And there's no law against a shop replacing a missing cat with straight pipe. Most folks here would just say "good" if you told them it was removed.

In my future plans, I'm considering a down pipe with extra ports for gauge sensors. From what I've read on them, the cheap stainless ones on eBay are as good as any and seem to do well. But again, this is just what I've read.

If that is what you want well IMO you will do fine. The quality is "ok" not the best and it may need some additional welding to improve it?
Even the ones on ebay are the same way, no better no worse.

For what it is worth I got 2 on ebay one went to a fellow member here on this forum but I won't mention Dwaynes name for his protection.

MPx 3inch O2 Housing from Moder Performance and an eBay CAT delete down pipe. For track use only. Currently used as spare bedroom decor.

I started a thread after you ask about the welding.
