Default AirAid Installed: First Impression

I installed the AirAid CAI on Sunday, and drove it to work this Monday morning. First impression: my car feels like it's running on premium gas now but I just filled it up with regular since prices are atrocious. I like the result. I agree with many peoples accessments, it may not add HP but it does put the HP lower where I can use it more. The new engine noise will take a bit of getting used to though, but I think I can live with it. I'll let you know in about 2 weeks whether I get better MPG. *Crosses Fingers*

PT-ERA,

They all make that "sucking-in-air-hollow-noise" especially when your foot is into the throttle. You can just lightin up a bit on the gas to lessen the noise and actually improve your MPG..but that's no fun!

PT-ERA,
I put a AIRAID inyake and dual exhaust on my Dodge Ram and my mileage went up 2mpg, so it should help the PT also. Let us know how it goes as I'm considering the same for my PT.

CREWZIN, letting up on the gas may be harder to do now. Before with the cheap gas, I had to mash the peddle just to get her to move. Now she jumps with just a light touch. I may lose a couple of MPG with my lead foot. I'll try to be careful!

I went with the K&N system on mine. Love it . Haven't checked the
gas mileage yet.
