Default Air intake help

I just installed a Bomz racing intake on my base model and i love the sound and the increase performance i got, however i got couple of questions. 1-What i'm i supposed to do with the little air hose that goes under the original filter on the side of the air box? I just left it in the same place, don't know what to do?? And on the pipe the replace the rubber one there's 2 holes I used one for the temp switch and the other one i had to plug, since i didn't know what is it for, anyone knows?

Boricua,

When I replaced my stock air box with a Volant cold air system, I took the plastic tube that went under the original air box and turned it around to fit into the other hole that you plugged.

On the K&N FIPK Gen II Intake System, the hose plugs on to a "nipple" on the K&N intake Tube. On this Pic it is covered with heat shrink tubing where it attaches to retain the braid covering I put on.
