Default K and N filters for the ragtop?

Does anyone have any idea on when the K & N will be available for the ho GT convertibles? I asked at the auto store and they said it was too new yet...they also said there wasn't one for the hemi either?

Any leads from anyone out there on where I might be able to find one? I have checked the web site, but there isn't really any information there either.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. [xx(]

As far as I know, the K&N filter available for the PT (turbo or N/A engines) will fit your convertible. The turbo and naturally aspirated motors use the same filter.

To verify, you can cross-reference your filter part number (check your owner's manual or the number might still be printed on your filter) with any filter catalog.

I am 98% sure that you can use the already-available drop-in filter for your PT GT convertible.

The K&N HP-2009 should fit just fine on your GT High Output TURBO.

The air filter part number is 33-2153, for the '04s, turbo or not. Just installed one on my '04 Touring Turbo. This is the drop-in stock replacement.

Thanks for the info on the K&N filter...will be calling the local parts house shortly. Premium gas here in Clinton Twp, MI (just north of Deetroit) just hit $2.20 for premium and $2.08 for midgrade...

Unreal. Oh well, still LOVE Zippy! He is so fun to drive...can't believe that I would have another love affair with a car other than my 65 ragtop![|)]
