Default Jane,(as in plain)

We have decided to go blower or turbo on Jane the Pt. (bright silver LE with Mopar ground effects kit and Chysler 5 spoke polished wheels)What is the best brand of each and how would each meet our needs. The car is driven around a small town in Mississippi, and on the interstate twice a month. We want in increse acceleration and performane when we pull onto the interstate and pass. The car is driven less than 2000 miles per year. What is realistic install hours on each. All help appreciated, my last hot rod was a 3 year old '55 black Belair hardtop Chevy.

You might want to consider trading in and getting a factory turbo. They are making some really good deals.
The factory turbo has beefed up connecting rods, so go easy with boost if you do decide to pressurize yours.

I agree with Quicksilverdon, You might look into a new turbo. I just bought a '04 Touring Turbo, new for $19,500 after rebate. The turbo engine is very different from standard engines. The 180hp (low pressure) turbo, will get you onto the Interstates really, really fast.
