Car dies multiple times on highway

Newbie here and need help bad! I have a 2002 PT cruiser 2.4 le with 64000 miles. Always runs good until I got on the highway engine cut out a few times, than later died completely. No service engine light comes on. Not too hot, but had to cool off for 30 minutes before it would start, than would start perfectly. Only ran about 15 minutes, than dies again, repeat five times. Would start with starter fluid, but would die within seconds. I'm out of ideas!

Car has new fuel pump, crank, and cam sensors.

If it started with starting fluid, there's a good chance this is a fuel pressure/pump issue.
Causes could be a clogged fuel filter failing pump, blocked vent, etc.

Fuel pump is new and it only dies when hot

From your description it's fuel related [or starting fluid wouldn't do anything].
The pump may be new but the line can be partially clogged.

i know the colis are usally rock solid but if it only does this when its hot could be a bad coil??? still sounds like a fuel issue have some one read the pressure at the fuel rail

On the 2001/02 cruisers, the end of the fuel line is pointed out in my picture below and is where a gauge can measure the pressure.
