Here's a link to the fuel pump rewire mod for the Neon SRT-4's:
HOW-TO: Fuel Pump Rewire - Dodge SRT Forum - SRTConnection They sell kits but I'm pretty sure this is the guide I used when I did it to my old SRT. Pretty straight forward and seemed to make a huge difference as the fuel pumps in those cars received a lower voltage than they should have and caused them to perform less than ideal. Whether it was an actual measurable difference or something that I just felt improved the overall performance of the car I was fairly impressed. Now to my question, has anyone done this to their PT cruiser or are the fuel pumps in our cars already operating at an ideal voltage? |
