Connector located in middle of the a/c compressor Blueish Green color?????

I think I may have figured out my a/c problem or part of it anyway. There is a connector on the compressor, located right in the middle and it's broke. The connector running down with the wires to connect to it, was just hanging there, not plugged in. I ran the car up on ramps to get under it and then I saw why, the plug in in the center of the compressor that it plugs into is broke, so I need to try and get it out and I wanted to ask the name of the plug in or connector in the center of the compressor....its like an aqua color. Any help with a name would be appreciated and how is it in there, is it screwed in or pushed in? That would help getting it out......Thanks in advance.

This is a high pressure cutoff switch.




If the terminals are broken off of yours, you can buy a replacement at many parts stores. But you will have to depressurize the AC system to change it out. Unless you can do that yourself, it will likely need to be done by a shop that does AC work.

MUCH Thanks! Now, how do I get it out? Twist it or pull out? It's partly broken on mine...

I believe it uses a lock ring. But remember, there is likely pressurized freon behind it.
