Oil Light
I have a 2003 Cruiser with 87000 miles on it.
A couple of weeks ago I had the oil changed, so it has plenty of oil. On Tuesday I took my car to my mechanic due to the "check engine light" being on. It was an incorrect purge in the evap system. As soon as I left his garage, the oil light came on. I pulled over and turned the car off. I restarted it and the oil light didn't come on and it hasn't come on since. This is the only time the oil light has ever come on as long as I have owned the car. Is this cause for concern?

Do the key dance to see if there is any codes ...may be oil oil pressure switch...mine done that on vacation 400 miles from home

oil pressure switches are known to go bad on the PT id just change it and you should be good to go

So I'm not loosing oil pressure. That is good to know.
