Default Fuel pump relay number?

Does anyone know which is the number for the fuel pump relay in the PDC? My Haynes manual tells me I need to remove this before I remove the intake but the picture they give of the PDC looks nothing at all like mine. Help!

If the picture of the PDC (Power Distribution Center) doesn't look anything like what you have, you probably have a 2nd generation (06-10) PT Cruiser which has the IPM (Integrated Power Modual). According to a search for your answer, I found this.....

This vehicle is not equipped with a fuel pump relay. The fuel pump control is done through the TIPM (Electrical box w/ fuses and relays by the battery). The TIPM receives an input signal from the PCM. Once the TIPM receives the signal, it will output a 12 volt supply to the fuel pump module turning the pump on.

The Haynes/Chilton Manuasl aren't bad for some repairs on the first generation (01-05) cruisers but the upgraded manuals which supposedly covers up to 2009 leaves a lot to be desired including the change of electronics to include the TIPM and Can-Bus system.

I find it ironic that the colors red, white, and blue stand for freedom until they are flashing behind you.

Very helpful, thank you. Mine is a 2008, NA. I just went ahead and skipped that step, I guess that means I'll just get a squirt of fuel at some point as I dig down toward removing the cylinder head.

You may want to mark either the Coil or Cam Position sensor harness connector to make sure you install them on the correct item.
Its possible to cross connect them upon assembly.
