Default Camshaft Position

I just removed the timing belt in the process of finding and curing an oil leak and power steering leak. I had to rotate the crankshaft during the R&R of the oil pump, so it was not in the same position as when I started. Got it back together to the point of trying to start it to make sure all was OK. Won't start. Sounds like very little compression, but when I turn it over by hand it does have compression. What is the correct position of the camshafts? With the crankshaft pointing at the timing mark the front camshaft has markings that says "front" and "up" with the arrows pointing up. There is an arrow pointing to the middle of the rear cam. The rear cam says "front" and "up", but the arrows are pointing down. There is also an arrow pointing to the middle of the front cam. Am I not seeing the arrows correctly? Is the rear cam 180 off?

sounds like it. Arrows up. Notches pointing at each other. The should line up through the centerline of the cam bolts. For pics. Go to the performance section of the forum. Look for the how to sticky. Go to that. Look for the HOW TO REMOVE THE HARMONIC BALANCER TIP AND TRICKS. Clear pics of the timing there. I'm a on my phone so can't do links with it.

The marks at the center of the cam sprockets are what you need to be concerned with.
