This subject is far to large to talk about until you are ready to actually do it. You should in the mean time learn as much as you can about it before deciding to use it.

There is at least 2 PT Cruiser members that have used and may be still using it?
But I can tell you ion both cases their PT Cruiser have been modified and are in excellent running condition with many mods.

It will need calibration adjustment done either with a PCM access device or from someone like Syked tuning Syked Ecu Tuning | Dodge Tuning Software

E85 and Methanol users above 60% are both a PIA IMHO for a ECU/EFI calibrator. You also need to be able to DATA and even a chassis DYNO at some point to check everything out.

Nothing personal and don't take this wrong but you really should get your PT Cruiser at the first stage of your upgrading level and then think about exotic fuels.

I am working right now helping a professional racer with his ECU calibration recommendations and the use of meth at levels 80 to 100%, OMG what a PIA!!!!!!! and mostly will be actually doing them in the near future. If I get the new program to do so.

As the other guy said, you should read up on it. There isn't a lot of information here, but there is quite a bit of information on the srtforums as well as others. I too have plans to do this. Time will tell if I do actually do it or not, but it has been an interest of mine for a while.

At the very minimum, you will need a set of larger injectors (~750cc) and a custom tune. There is a user on the srt forums called Duster360 and he has supplied many of those guys with custom DS tunes to run e85. I likely will buy one from him, should the time arrive in the future.

Anyway, definitely read up on it.

Just to add my 2 cents: I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus that is Flex Fuel. I have tried the E85 in it a couple times.

First off, they recommend that if you are going to use that fuel for any length of time, you will have to use special oil in the crankcase.

Second, yes, E85 is less expensive than regular gas, but your gas mileage will go down by at least 15%. I checked it and it did.

SO, that's something to think about as well.

(Plus it smells weird when you burn it.)

In France 1l of 95 is 1,25 euros . 1l of E85 is 0,65 euro

And my other pt is full e85 since more than 20000 km, I dont have any trouble except the engine light on for the injector

you save .6 euros per litre, but you burn 30% more fuel. so technically you only save .3 euros per litre, minus the cost of bigger injectors, the tuning hardware, and the cost of having it tuned. IMO it will be a lot of driving before you make those costs up

have you tried mixing the e85 and gas on the other PT to see if you can save a little while still running correctly?
