Have you checked spark plugs and wires?

What is the engine compression for all 4 cylinders?

Did the engine overheat?

What engine trouble codes are you getting? and are you using an OBDII Scan Tool?

Was there any work done before the misfire code came up?

Welcome to the forum

How many mIles are on it? Are you the original owner where you know the service history? Has the timing belt work been done?

It's had a rough life then, and way overdue for timing belt replacement.

yes but i dont think a timing belt would cause the low pressure in 2nd cylinder

Have you done both wet and dry compression test on cylinder 2?

I would also suggest doing a cylinder compression leak down test to see where the leaking is coming from.

For the wet test the only difference is you put 4 squirts of engine oil in the cylinder and do the same as you do for the dry test.
