Default 2000 Caravan 3.0l V6 engine swap...

Hey there. New to the forum. I have a 2002 PT Cruiser Limited Edition that has a few engine problems. It at least needs a new head gasket. It rev limits at 4500 and the battery light sporadically turns on.

I have a 2000 Chrysler Voyager with the G67 Mitsubishi motor with a damaged front end / front axle. I know that most of the engine swaps for the PT Cruiser are from the Neon platform. I've tried searching for known swaps with the G67 and I haven't found any. I'm just curious what you guys think. I'll post videos and pictures if helpful.

If this just can not be done economically, I'll have to try to get my motor fixed. It's not blown. It turns over. It's just going to need an overhaul. Thanks.

V6 PT? That would be COOL! But I can't imagine there's gonna be room in there...

Fix the bad cylinder head. It will be much faster. I can't begin to imagine the complexity of grafting a completely different engine into a PT.

I figured as much. Can't afford to fix either at the moment. Not a big deal. They are cars #3 and #4. The van only has 135k on it so that's the main reason I was wondering. It'll be a few months until I can afford to get the PT fixed. I read they were working on a V6 PT originally but it never made it past the drawing board. I was hoping they were designing it around this particular engine. Thanks again.
