Default Need help with bolt size on engine bracket.

Well i recently blew my timing belt and as i was taking it apart somehow i managed to bend one of the three bolts that hold the engine bracket to the engine. Does anyone know off hand what the type and size bolts these are. And does anyone know where to get them as the dealer says they do not carry those and that the engine bracket is not a serviceable part. Interesting! Anyway thanks for any help.

Thank you for this but it's not the motor mount t-55 bolt that i need it is the three bolts that hold the engine mounting bracket to the engine block. #1 in the image

any competent engine rebuilding shop you should call and ask for advice. they should have a list of bolts for that engine or possibly even know how to repair it or replace these.

Some years ago I purchased a slightly longer bolt for the lower strut bracket on my PT. I wasn't satisfied with the length that engaged the bracket on the motor. I had to tap the bracket a bit to get the longer bolt to engage but it worked well. I bought the bolt from McMaster-Carr as I remember I had to buy a pack of 5 but the cost wasn't too bad.

It should be a metric bolt. You should be able to measure it and figure out the size. Watch the marking on the head as that indicates bolt strength, buy a matching strength bolt.
