Default clutch cylinders

Soft pedal, poor disengage etc..... is it the slave , clutch master or both???? Which seems to fail first? We bled and fooled with it all day "got worse" I will replace all parts myself so "where is the clutch master cylinder" ? Any tricks or thoughts are appreciated!! 2006 non turbo.....
