Energy Suspension bush kits for the Chrysler PT Cruiser and Neon

Anybody bought these?

So I bought them, went to garage number 3 who says same thing as other 2 garages, they do not fit the Pt cruiser. They do not even look like the original set on the cruiser.

Rather than go through all that crap, I just bought the entire Lower Control Arms from rockauto. They're Moog brand and I had no problems installing them. They make a huge difference in the ride and handling. Good luck with that stuff.

After reading the add and seeing the picture. I believe they will work. The shops you are going to apparently are not familiar with the aftermarket urethane and the design change. The directions that should come with the kit should give you the info to do it yourself. If you are so inclined.

I agree with VsandFords.
I installed the complete Energy Suspension master kit in my PT. The vertical bushing is a completely different design from the OEM bushing. Mine was three pieces plus the metal sleeve.
They aren't that hard to install, just takes a bit of fiddling...

Do they last a long time?

I bought this particular make for all the bushes, anti roll bar links etc OEM ones do not seem to last very long here which is why I tried these.

I may ask a friend to do these bushes, he is pretty good. They do look quite different from the ones on the car.

Cool Re: click photo for more pictures LOWER CONTROL ARM (WISHBONE) BUSH SET

They should last longer then the OEM ones... I have 50,000 or so miles on mine and they seem to still be just fine. Be sure to use plenty of the lubricant for the poly bushings.
